Become The Deliberate Creator of Your Life

You know I talk a lot about Deliberate Creation…it’s kinda my thing, but even though this is the main subject of my days, sometimes I have to remind myself about the Deliberate part.


You see, we are all creators of our life (whether you are aware of it or not) because the Law of Attraction is always responding to the energy we put out, but the fun part comes in when we realize the power we have to deliberately effect our life. We learn that we can control what we put out by what we focus on and then we start to experience more conditions that please us.


Have you ever asked yourself the question – “How am I supposed to focus on something different when reality is so obviously blaring me in the face? I can’t NOT focus on the fact I can’t pay my bills, I can’t not notice the pain in my back or that my partner is so negative, it’s my reality.”


And you are right. The pain in your life is real and present. It is there, the question is, what is your emotional response to it? IF you choose a response based on your current reality, then your emotional response will come from a place of fear, but…

How can you move beyond your current reality if all of your attention is on what IS?

If what IS has your undivided attention, then you are not a deliberate creator. You are still the creator of your life, but you are a reactive creator, a responsive creator…you are creating your life by default.And this is how most people live their lives, going around, observing reality, having an unconscious reaction to it and automatically creating from that response. But when you understand you have the power choose an emotional response, you now have the ability to move beyond your current reality and create something different.


So How Do You Become More Deliberate?


1) The first step in becoming more deliberate is about Awareness. The moment you catch yourself feeling an unwanted emotion, Stop. Just stop whatever is going on, stop all the thinking in the mind and say “Look at that, I am experiencing incredible frustration because that idiot in front of me keeps slamming on his breaks.” (This is the critical shifting point because the vibe hasn’t built up too much momentum).


2) Allow It To Be Ok. The moment you stop fighting what IS and allow it to be, you will release resistance and open your energy up to receive something more. “It’s ok, I can just let this be ok for now, it’s not like I have to follow him forever.” A better feeling, a new idea or perspective will be attracted to this feeling of relief that you have deliberately chose to feel, and it continues to spiral up from there.


3) The most powerful tool you have access to at any time in your life, is your ability to focus. Training your focus and ultimately managing your vibration takes practice, but it develops with each moment that you are conscious of it. It is easier to train your focus doing something that bring you joy, so start developing your awareness of your emotions during your favourite sport or hobby. “Oh look at me being so peaceful on my walk,” or “Hey I’m noticing how excited I am to play this game.”

Do you get lost in your head?


This past week I was reminded once again how foundational being present is to our feeling fulfilled in this life. I was lost in daydreaming about the future, wondering how things would turn out, if I was doing the right things right now to get to where I want to be…and then I caught myself feeling “off” and realized how I was all lost in my mind and thoughts. I gently reminded myself of a few things about getting lost in our thoughts:

Anytime you are “thinking” about anything, you are focused in the past or on future.

Your attention is focused somewhere else, and as deliberate creators you know, all of your manifesting power is in your awareness of the present moment. The now moment is the only space you can emit a vibration to the universe and ultimately create your future. You can think about the past or the future, but you can never go BE there and change the way you feel, you can only change the way you feel right now.

What you are feeling now is what you are creating more of for your future.

It’s as if the now is almost passé because you have created your now experiences in the past. You are currently living something you’ve created in the past. This doesn’t mean you have to feel amazing in every moment to create positive experiences in the future, but feeling an underlying sense of peace and trust, opens up the energetic space for more good feelings to flow in moment by moment. Let this present moment dictate what your future feels like.

Your greatest power is in your Beingness.

The past and the future are experienced in our mind and not in our full being. We have talked about before your two different “selves” – physical world self (thinking mind) and the non-physical energy part of you (spirit). Beingness can be thought of as the blending of your thinking focus and your non-physical energy focus. Your non-physical energy is always and forever focused in the moment and so when you choose to bring your thinking focus to the present moment, you line up with non-physical energy. By doing this you open up the channel for the energy that creates worlds to flow through YOU. This is the essence and power of the present moment.

Life happens right now. Your life is happening right now. It’s not later. It’s not when you retire. It’s not when you meet the lover or make enough money. Your life is right now and it will always be right now. You might as well choose to start feeling better and enjoying life right now…because it is never going to get better than right now, unless it gets better right now!

Manifest It Now!

This past weekend I found myself standing absolutely still and perfectly silent inside the front hall closet during an intense game of hide and seek. I was amusing myself with the idea that very shortly, I would be coming out of the closet…again. This time though, it would be way more fun and much easier!

Which is like so many experiences that we have in this life…much easier the second time round. Over a year and a half ago, Cassie and I first launched our podcast Manifest It Now, and I remember sitting there together recording our first episode feeling all nervous and giggly. I was worried I wouldn’t know what to say or I would say the wrong thing or worst of all, people wouldn’t like the real me (yes these doubts still arise in conscious creators). That was the first time.

 [1] Your Manifesting Sweet Spot

Starting the podcast with Cassie was one of the scariest and BEST things things I have ever done for myself and for my business. Interesting how those two things so often go together, isn’t it? It is that place of nervous excitement that I like to call a manifesting sweet spot. It is always a little bit uncomfortable when we are growing and changing, but when you find alignment first, it is equally as exciting.

This is the second time. Cassie and I are continuing to follow inspiration and have decided to leave the LOA Radio Network to host our podcast on our own platform. This time as we recorded our first “new” episode, I was still feeling the sweet spot of nervous excited energy for a new adventure, but this time with way less doubt and an experiential knowing that all is well. Once again, the second time round was so much more fun and easier!

[2] We learn and grow through our life experiences

The only way we actually learn something is to have a life experience. I quote Abraham-Hicks all the time when referring to this as they say “Words do not teach, true knowing comes from life experience.” We literally grow from every experience. When you choose this perspective it allows you to feel good about your experiences. To release judgement of good or bad and simply allow yourself to experience your life.

If there is something sitting in the back of your mind that you are wanting, start by uncovering what is exciting about it, be guided to that manifesting sweet spot and step into the action with the intention of simply living the experience.

Change Is Fluid

It seems sometimes there is a ton of energy this time of the calendar year around change. Start working towards a new goal, stop spending so much time in a bad habit, set goals for more of this and less of that…all surrounded around change in some way or another. So let’s talk about it…

One of the questions I recently asked my LOA Skills Campers was How are you different from last year to now? (A great question to ask yourself hint hint) Every person highlighted the feeling of greater awareness and connection with who they really are and feeling more in control of their path.

“It feels like I found the key to understanding life, and now I feel more powerful.”

What an incredible way to have changed. The second part of this exercise was to bring awareness to the process of change. You were there and now you are here, well how did that happen? The consensus was that Change is Fluid, and that even the process of change is always changing. Sometimes it’s a decision, sometimes it’s an intention, sometimes we don’t even realize we have changed so much until we look back at what used to be. There is perfection in all of these paths, although we identified a common theme. Through practicing and trusting the system, everyone realized that the key to all of it is…

…allowing the change to unfold.

We are constantly expanding beings. Vibrationally we are always becoming more, moving towards who we want to be, and there is a certain fluidity to this process. Like water flowing downstream, we organically expand our awareness through life experience. In other words, we don’t have to try to improve ourselves so much, because the universe already takes care of it. Take the pressure off yourself this year and see what happens.

Lastly, whatever (if any) change you are intending for the new year, kindly bring to it the vibration of Allowing. Know that you are already being pulled forward to what you want and trust the inspirations, your emotions and most of all relax into the unfolding of it all.

What Is Alignment?

Have you ever heard me talk about Alignment and wondered to yourself what it actually means…what does it look like in the real world Ginny? A very valuable question because as you all know, Alignment is one of the most important concepts to leveraging the Law of Attraction, so gaining a better grasp on what it means will indeed boost your manifesting! I’m going to share with you three key principles brought to my attention a couple days ago.

I was working with a fitness trainer on a new exercise and after I completed a few repetitions she stopped and commented on how I could improve my form. Her words were “If you pull your shoulder blades back and keep your chest more forward, you are in better alignment and will have more strength.” It immediately clicked for me because I understand vibrational alignment!


[1] When you are in alignment you can access more manifesting power

I knew I would have more physical strength when my body position was aligned, the same way you have more vibrational power when your vibration is aligned. This exemplifies why you want to get into alignment before you take any action. When you are vibrationally aligned before you act, you will experience the result you intended (the muscles I was focusing on would get stronger). If I continued to take action and do the exercise without proper alignment, I would not get the full results I desired and in fact may injure myself.


[2] Alignment is a Process 

I do want to point out that in this example it was important for me to take some action and then fine tune the alignment. I am a big supporter of inspired and aligned action, but I believe it is a process and you can learn so much by observing yourself through taking action. I was inspired to try the exercise (some alignment) and then was guided to the most effective positioning (more alignment) along the way. Which is why a coach is helpful, but also knowing that eventually I will be able to complete the exercise on my own with consistent alignment.

Something else the trainer said as we progressed, (which is also so relate-able for everyday life) was  “You will learn what the alignment feels like and it will become more natural for your body to get into that positioning.” It was like fireworks going off in my mind, and I did give her an over-enthusiastic, yes I know, isn’t it amazing how that works?! Obviously she is referring to the physical body and I am referring to vibration, but same same!


[3] You Get Familiar with the Feeling of Alignment and it Eventually Happens Organically

This is exactly what my clients and I work on together! When you get familiar with what your alignment feels like, it becomes easier to access for you; the same way that the more I experience and feel what the proper movement is like, the easier I am able to move with the most effective form. The part I love most about this concept is that we don’t really really know what it feels like, until we experience it. When I found the proper alignment in my body, I could literally feel the access to more strength, and from that experience I learned what the alignment felt like, and it was easier to go there the next time.


Remember you are the only one responsible for your own alignment, and when you learn how to find it, you have access to this Crazy Awesome Miracle Creating Power.

You Always Get to Choose

One of my very good friends sent me this awesome story yesterday and I want to share it with all of you!
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all. One is EVIL – it is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride superiority, and ego. The other is GOOD – it is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather “which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

As deliberate creators you feed anything by giving your attention to it…

  • By thinking about it. When you look back on your day today, do you spend more time thinking about all the positive parts and what you appreciated about your day or do you spend more time replaying negative events or assessing if you did okay in whatever situation?
  • By talking about it. Be aware of how much time you spend having conversations about what is going right in your life or what is going wrong; about what makes you happy or what makes you upset. Talking about anything is feeding it.
  • By observing it. The Law of Attraction will help you notice more of what you are focused on, therefore creating evidence of anything you are looking for. Are you looking for happy people around you or are you noticing more frustrated individuals?

This can be applied to any emotion that we feel, but more specifically anything we are desiring to manifest. If you desire a romantic relationship in your life, but continually tell your friends about how much it sucks to be alone and that you wish you had a partner – you are feeding the single wolf. If you are desiring more money, but can’t stop thinking about all the bills coming in – you are feeding that wolf!

You always get to choose. By being aware of where you are placing attention and what you are feeding, you begin to take control of what you are creating more of in your life.


How thoughts do NOT create your reality

As I was working on the second chapter of my book this morning, I was writing about something really important that I want to highlight. Thoughts DO NOT create our reality. I know it may seem odd for your Law of Attraction coach to be saying this, but I want you to have a deeper understanding of what is actually happening.
The thought is only the precursor to the actual mode of communication with the universe. It is your emotions that carry the vibrational frequency to the universe around you not the thought. Thoughts actually have zero power UNTIL you choose to assign them a meaning! Two people can have the very same thought about something – let’s say how sunny the weekend is going to be. One person may love the sun and so this means a fun weekend outside, while the other person may prefer cool temperatures, so it means a not fun weekend avoiding the sun. It is the exact same “thought” but each person chooses what it means for them and this choice determines the emotion they feel and therefore what vibration they are emitting to the universe. One person vibrates excitement and one person vibrates frustration.
Can you see how much power you hold, simply in the way that you choose to perceive something? The choice and power is all yours! It is so incredible. There is no special skill you need to have to be a more deliberate creator of your life. All you need to do is be aware of how you are choosing to think about things. That’s it. Just be aware and see what follows…

Talk Less…Feel More

Talk less and feel more! Most recently I have experienced some incredible highs, like those 100% you know you are in the vortex, you can’t even describe how amazing you feel and how amazing life is! You know what I mean right? It happens a lot when you first fall in love 😉 Or when you are a deliberate creator like yourself and you just practice being in love with life!

So I get this feeling a lot in the car, mostly when it’s sunny outside and I’ve just had an inspiring client session and am then cruising along to great tunes. The other week one of my friends called me in the middle of this, and I was so excited and bursting at the seams to share my experience, but I just couldn’t put it into words. I kept saying “It’s simply beyond words.” Every week I speak with a client and together we practice reveling in all the good feelings and eventually get to the same vibrational level of “It feels so good, there are just no physical words to describe it.” And THAT is the whole point. The feeling is so much more real than the words. Our life on this planet is so much more about feeling than talking, but stop and think about how much time we spend talking versus being aware of what we are feeling.

We are here experiencing this physical reality and we do that only through our five senses. We were given senses so that we could feel. Feel our way through this life. Our whole experience of reality is based on the interaction betwenn the external world and our individual senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. It is our feelings and emotions in which we communicate with the universe AND how we truly leverage the power as deliberate creators!

Words can be limiting. Not only do you have the potential to FEEL more connectedness and depth than you do to describe it, but as I have recently come to understand, sometimes even the act of trying to describe the feeling, actually takes away from the in the moment feeling of it. Next time you are feeling really high and you just want to dance around and tell everyone about it, try sitting with it, revel in it, really go inside and feel how good it feels without trying to describe it. Vibrationally this adds so much power to the good feeling emotion and ultimately brings your desires to you with incredible ease.

If you want to be more deliberate, tap into your emotions, and pay attention to what you are feeling, and when. This week, practice being aware of your emotions, really feel what you are feeling. And just BE there with it.

Health and Well-being

This is the phrase that spoke to me most during meditation yesterday. It embodies what living your truth is all about. It is all about allowing the connection to your inner self, be the solution. Knowing what you want, and making thought and action choices in alignment with your own values. When we do this, we organically feel empowered and trust ourselves more, which gradually leads to knowing our own worthiness. Three easy things to keep in mind that will bring you closer to living your truth and simply being yourself.

1. Clearly define what you want. Start by just writing the heading “what do I want?” at the top of a blank page, and see what comes out. When we have an idea of what we want, it is easier to make little choices that bring us closer.

2. Be aware of what you are telling yourself. We will experience what we believe to be true, so take the time to examine what you believe about you and about your life. If it is not something you want more of in your life, stop the inner dialogue about it. Your thought patterns are simply habits, and you can break any habit.

3. Pay attention to your emotions. Our emotions are how source energy communicates with us. A negative emotion informs us that we (in our logical brain) are perceiving something in a way that is not the same as what source knows to be true. To really BE your true self, you must align with the unconditionally loving perspective of source. Follow the feel good emotions.

Speaking in vibrational terms, when we are completely aligned with our inner being, we are on the same frequency as source energy and are naturally being our true selves. And it is from this place of pure connection that we allow in our natural state of health and well-being. If you are looking for healing of any kind, look within yourself and allow the alignment with your own inner being.

You CAN Have What You Want

There is something really important that I want to tell you today. That thing you are desiring for yourself, you can have it! You can achieve it! You can feel it! Whatever IT is, sitting in the back of your mind right now, that thing that you want but part of you is scared to admit you want it… I’m telling you, you CAN have it.

The Law of Attraction teaches us that the mere fact you have the desire within you is enough evidence that it IS possible for you. The universe only inspires an idea within you that has the possibility to exist in this reality. The divinely inspired idea comes up within you and then it is up to you to allow the momentum to build, to stay in the place of allowing in order for that desire to manifest. Remain in that place of allowing by choosing thoughts that ONLY support what it is you want. The thoughts of doubt that you have about whatever it is. Just stop. You can choose right now to believe in yourself and believe in what you want. I am not saying it will happen for you tomorrow, but when you consciously make the choices to support your own wants and desires, the universe will move mountains to make it happen. Make the decision. You must be the one to believe in yourself and your dreams first. Go and Light your own damn fire! You’ve got this!
So that thing…yeah, you can have it.
